Program Structure
Year one: BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo
Year two: Luiss Guido Carli, Rome
While in Oslo, students will learn about brand management, data in marketing, and consumer management, with a focus on sustainability in marketing.
During the second year, students will choose one elective course and delve deeper into the study of consumer behavior, communication strategies, and legal regulation in marketing. They will also take a lab on data and artificial intelligence, as well as a lab on how to write their Master's thesis.
The program integrates academic, research-based, and innovative marketing content in two stimulating and enriching study environments.
Candidates who successfully complete the program will obtain the following two degrees:
- Master of Science in Strategic Marketing Management from BI;
- A Master's Degree in Marketing from Luiss.

Admissions
Admission to this program is joint, meaning that both BI and Luiss receive and evaluate the applications.

Minimum Requirements
- A BA degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, or Social Sciences
- Required courses: Foundations in Marketing, Foundations in Economics (Micro or Macro), Business Economics or Finance, Statistics or Econometrics
- Graduation in the Summer Session of the 2025–2026 academic year
- Average grade at the time of application must be 26/30 or higher
- Luiss students and students from BI partner universities are exempt from the GMAT/GRE and English language certificates. Students are still encouraged to upload these documents if available. Please visit the Admission Tests and Waivers | BI page.
Fees and Scholarships
Admitted students will pay tuition fees to BI in the first year and to Luiss in the second.
The program awards up to two scholarships to students admitted to the BI-Luiss Joint MSc in Marketing.
The application deadline is March 1, 2026.
The following fees apply for the BI-Luiss Joint MSc in Marketing :

During the second year, students will also need to pay a regional tax of around €200 and a graduation fee of €200.
Career Paths
The BI-Luiss Joint MSc in Marketing provides students with a solid foundation for managerial positions in market-oriented organizations.
It is designed to train students to study marketing from a management perspective, while at the same time specializing in the analytics and metrics areas of the field, and to prepare them for roles as Brand Manager, Market Analyst, Social Media Manager, Digital Marketing Director, Communications Specialist, International Marketing Manager, or Media Buyer.
