Admission via test to Bachelor and Single-Cycle Master's degree courses for non-EU students

The Luiss Test is one of the ways to participate in the selection process for admission to the Bachelor’s Degree Courses and the Single-Cycle Master’s Degree Course in Law, aimed at candidates who are nationals of a non-EU country or a country outside the Schengen area.

The initial information regarding the selection process for the 2027/2028 academic year is already available. The admission notice, detailing the requirements and how to apply, will be published from October 2026.

Who can take part

You can apply if you are a citizen of a country outside the EU or the Schengen area and you hold, or will obtain by the specified deadlines, a valid upper secondary school diploma that grants access to Italian universities.

The Luiss Test

The Luiss Test comprises psycho-aptitude questions inspired by the SAT model, and is designed to assess logical reasoning, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.

The test takes place online via the platform specified by the University and includes control systems to ensure a fair selection process, such as asynchronous audio-video verification tools and live proctoring.

The participation fee is 150 euros.

How the selection process works

To participate, you must apply online, indicate your chosen degree programme, and take the Luiss Test according to the scheduled timetable.

The chosen degree programme is binding for admission and subsequent enrolment.

The Committee assesses applications based on the Test result, the submitted documentation, and any assessment interview.

For degree programmes taught in Italian, the test will be taken in Italian; for those taught in English, it will be taken in English.

Foreign qualifications

For qualifications awarded under foreign regulations, admission is subject to verification of the documentation requested by the Admissions Office and the qualification’s suitability according to current Italian legislation.

If the documentation is not compliant or is not submitted by the specified deadline, enrolment cannot be finalised, even if you have been previously admitted.

Results and enrollment

The results will be published according to the schedule set for the admission session.

If you are admitted, you will need to complete the enrolment process by the deadlines set by the University.

If you’ve taken part in an admissions process for the 2026/2027 academic year and received an offer of admission, please complete the enrollment process by 22 July 2026.

FAQ

Yes. You can request changes to your application within the timeframe specified in the Admission Notice by emailing ammissione@luiss.it. Once this deadline has passed, the application can no longer be modified.

Candidates with learning disabilities or other disabilities may request the compensatory measures provided for by current legislation. The request must be submitted during the application phase, accompanied by the required documentation.

Following the Committee's review, any compensatory measures granted for the exam will be communicated.

The one-off annual contribution is €15,000 for the first year.
