Fostering a culture of rules, a sense of belonging to the community, sustainability, and social responsibility are some of the values that form the foundation of Luiss Guido Carli's mission. These are also among the tasks entrusted to educational institutions to combat early school leaving and youth crime.

For this reason, our University has for years supported schools of all levels in promoting initiatives aimed at strengthening pupils' self-awareness and understanding of their role in society. Among the initiatives undertaken, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Professor Paola Severino, President of the Luiss School of Law and Professor Emeritus of our University, the “Legality and Merit” Project was launched a few years ago. Its aim is to collaborate with upper secondary schools, juvenile detention centres, Social Services Offices for Minors, and ministerial communities to promote a culture of legality.
