Call for applications for financial grants to prepare theses abroad – 2019-2020 academic year

To support student mobility, Luiss is awarding grants totaling €40,000. These funds are intended to partially cover travel and living expenses for students who, in agreement with their advisors, need to conduct research at public or private institutions based abroad. 
Students who, as of the call's deadline, are formally enrolled for the 2019–2020 academic year in the second year of a Master's degree program in the Departments of Economics and Finance, Business and Management, or Political Science, or in the fifth year of the single-cycle Master's degree program in the Department of Law, are eligible to participate in the competition.

Bonaldo Stringher, Giorgio Mortara, and Donato Menichella Scholarships – 2020 Edition

Each year, the Bank of Italy offers scholarships named after Bonaldo Stringher, Giorgio Mortara, and Donato Menichella. These scholarships are intended for recent graduates who wish to further their studies:

  • in the field of political economy and economic policy
  • in the field of mathematical, statistical, and econometric methodologies, primarily focused on analyzing institutions, markets, and financial instruments, as well as their regulation
  • in the field of the interrelationships between economic growth and the legal system, as well as the impacts of regulation on economic activities.

By awarding these scholarships, the Bank of Italy aims to fund promising recent graduates who are interested in conducting research in the aforementioned fields. For this reason, when evaluating applications, particular attention is paid to the quality of the thesis and the aptitude for study and research it demonstrates, as well as the study and research program that the candidates plan to undertake.

Applications must be submitted by 4:00 PM on November 17, 2020.

Call for applications for a full exemption from the Single Contribution, reserved for student athletes selected for the Luiss SSD swim team – 2019-2020 academic year

As part of the Luiss Sport Academy Project’s objectives, and thanks to a contribution from Intesa Sanpaolo, Luiss is offering a full exemption from the Single Contribution fee for enrollment in a Luiss degree program, with the exception of the regional fee for the right to study.

Through its partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo, Luiss aims to recognize the merit of student-athletes who successfully balance their studies and sports with a positive and harmonious approach.

This benefit will not be confirmed for subsequent academic years of enrollment.

Public call for the provision of housing vouchers reserved for university students in Lazio – Academic year 2019-2020

The Lazio Region and DiSCo are supporting the right to education and housing policies by providing a cash grant to help reduce the cost students incur for renting properties within the Lazio Region.

University students residing and/or domiciled in Lazio who are enrolled by December 31, 2019, and have an ISEE for the right to study based on 2017 income of €30,000 or less, with a DSU signed no later than November 29, 2019, are eligible to apply for the rent payment contribution.

Call for applications for a full exemption from the Single Contribution, in memory of Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, for students residing in the Puglia Region and enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in the Department of Economics and Finance or the Department of Business and Management at Luiss for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Luiss, in collaboration with the Giuseppe Patroni Griffi Onlus Foundation in memory of Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, is launching a competition to award a full exemption from the university’s Single Contribution. The scholarship is intended for a student residing in the Puglia region and enrolled in the first year of a Bachelor’s degree program in the Department of Economics and Finance or the Department of Business and Management.

ENI Scholarships

Five ENI scholarships are available for international students from Angola, Mozambique, Ghana, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, and Nigeria.
Scholarships cover travel expenses, tuition fees, and room and board for one academic year. They can be renewed for subsequent years based on academic performance.
Scholarships are available for students admitted to a Luiss Master’s or Bachelor’s Program taught entirely in English for the 2019–2020 academic year, provided they apply by June 17.
Students are not required to send or upload additional documents; they simply need to apply for one Luiss program following the instructions provided here.

Call for applications for 1 scholarship to study the Bachelor of Science in Management and Computer Science – Academic Year 2019-2020

Thanks to a donation from 2018 alumnus Riccardo Zacconi, Luiss is awarding a scholarship to the student who passes the admission test for the first year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Computer Science with the highest score (regardless of when the test was taken, including sessions held during the 2018 Summer School).

Candidates who meet the following requirements will be considered:

  • Passing the test with a score of at least 70% of the maximum achievable score, excluding bonuses
  • High school diploma grade of at least 85/100
     

The scholarship provides full exemption from the Single Contribution payable to Luiss for the entire standard duration of the program, excluding statutory fees.

Call for applications for 1 scholarship for students admitted to the Bachelor's Degree Program in Management and Computer Science who participated in the 6th edition of LuissMatics during the 2019–2020 academic year.

Luiss awards a scholarship to a student enrolled in the final year of a public or accredited private secondary school who has achieved the best results among those admitted to the first year of the Bachelor's Degree Program in Management and Computer Science (regardless of the date on which the entrance exam was taken, including sessions held during the 2018 Summer Schools) and who has participated in the sixth edition of LuissMatics, successfully completing all the tests.

The scholarship provides full exemption from the annual tuition fee for the entire legally required duration of the program, excluding statutory fees.

Call for applications for the award of 1 partial exemption from the payment of the Single Contribution to a female student enrolled in the Bachelor's Degree Program in Management and Computer Science – Academic Year 2019-2020

Luiss, in partnership with DELL S.p.A. – a global leader in IT infrastructure – is launching a competition to award a partial exemption, valued at €5,000, from the payment of the University’s Single Contribution. This exemption is intended for female students who take the admission test for the first year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Computer Science during the two 2019 editions of the “Festival dei giovani” or during the test on May 8, 2019.
The scholarship will be awarded to the student with the highest score on the admission ranking list.

Applications must be submitted by 12:00 PM on June 14, 2019.

MiPAAFT Degree Awards - 2019 Edition

In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Ministry of Agricultural, Food, Forestry, and Tourism Policies (MiPAAFT), Luiss is launching a competition to award two Degree Prizes. The Awards, valued at  €5,000 (before taxes and statutory withholdings), will be awarded through a selection process to the best master’s or single-cycle master’s theses completed in one of the following subject areas:

  • ­Food marketing
  • ­Internationalization processes for companies in the food sector
  • ­Food tech
  • ­Food law
  • Protection of the Made in Italy brand in the food sector

The Rotary Club Roma Sud Est is offering a €2,000 graduation award to honor Giovanni Nocco, who served as Luiss's Administrative Director for over thirty years and was a past president of the club. The award commemorates his great humanity, exceptional professional qualities, and the spirit of service that defined his life.

“Chiara Aprile” Degree Award for a thesis in Administrative Law

Thanks to contributions from relatives and friends of the Aprile family, Luiss is offering a €1,500 Degree Award in memory of Chiara Aprile, a Luiss graduate who passed away tragically young.

Chiara was a brilliant Law graduate from our university, passionate about administrative law, and she dreamed of working in that field through her own professional firm. For this reason, the call is reserved for graduates of the Luiss Law program with a specialization in Administrative Law who have completed their current studies and, between January 1, 2018, and December 15, 2019, have defended a thesis strictly related to the aforementioned specialization, earning a grade of at least 100/110.
