WELCOME TO ROME - Cultural activities
The Luiss Welcome Desk organises cultural activities designed to help you get to know Italy and the excellence of our country.
Parla con me is a series of sessions aimed at international students who want to improve their Italian language skills. Parla con me takes the form of weekly meetings with a tutor for international students at the Luiss Language Café in Viale Romania and at the Luiss Open Lounge in Via Parenzo.
During these sessions, tutors and students will speak in Italian. It will be an informal conversation (in Italian!) on topics chosen by the students, such as travel, music, books, or cinema.

- Greta Spreafico, Friday, 10:00–11:00 (Luiss Language Café in Viale Romania)
A series of conversations with the student community at the Luiss Residences about sharing residential spaces: we'll discuss the challenges and opportunities of living together, and work together to find solutions that make the university experience more enjoyable. Our aim is to celebrate healthy communication and individual and cultural diversity, ensuring harmonious living in our university's residential spaces.
The sessions will be interactive and held in English across the five Luiss residences. Communication will be accessible and understandable for everyone, regardless of their level of English. This approach aims to create a cohesive and inclusive group where people feel welcome and happy to participate.
Please note that only students living in their respective Luiss Residences can attend the meetings.
Luiss Sport offers numerous opportunities to play sport, organising various sporting activities that are open and accessible to all students. You can join an AS Luiss team or attend as a spectator to follow and cheer on our student-athlete teams during scheduled matches.
These sporting events offer a unique opportunity to experience the joy of sport and to socialise and integrate within the Luiss community.

Want to find out what it's like to negotiate international agreements or make strategic decisions for a large company? The Model Programme offers you the opportunity to engage in a hands-on simulation experience. Through this, you'll develop key skills such as public speaking, negotiation, and business leadership, all while collaborating with students from around the world.
The Programme, which has a strong practical component, is divided into two distinct pathways:
• UN Model Programme: Organised in collaboration with the FAO, this course will allow you to understand the mechanisms of international diplomacy and then put your skills to the test in the final simulation of a session of the FAO Council.
• Board of Directors Programme: Thanks to our partnership with Mercer, you'll gain a deeper understanding of how corporate leadership works and take part in a Board of Directors simulation.
