Law Twinning Programs with PUJ UP and PUCPR
Luiss has a Twinning Program with the following universities:
- Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (PUJ) - Bogotá, Colombia
- Universidad del Pacifico (UP) - Lima, Peru
- Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUCPR) - Curitiba, Brazil
Students from PUJ, UP, and PUCPR have the opportunity to spend two years at Luiss and enroll in the Luiss Single Cycle Master's Degree in Law.
The program is designed for international students who are interested in advancing their legal knowledge and skills in a stimulating, international environment. Participants will study the multiple dimensions of International Law, Comparative Public and Private Law, as well as EU Institutional and Substantive Law.
Prerequisites
Candidates must have completed the first 4 years at their home universities and be selected by their schools for the program.
Before arrival
After being nominated by their home university, selected students will receive a welcome email with useful information for their arrival at Luiss and enrollment. Non-EU students who have been admitted to any program at Luiss will receive an official invitation letter (after sending their personal information needed to issue the letter to the Welcome Desk), which is to be used when applying for an Italian study visa.
Program structure
Selected students will spend the third and fourth year of their studies at Luiss, earning a minimum of 113 ECTS credits (93 ECTS for courses + 20 ECTS for the final thesis), in accordance with the conditions set by Luiss to complete the program.
Participants will begin their studies at Luiss in the first semester (early September) of the 4th year and are expected to complete them by the beginning of July of the 5th year.
Upon successful completion of the program, participating students will be awarded a Luiss Single Cycle Master's Degree in Law as well as their home university's Undergraduate Degree.
