Guidelines:
Class attendance is mandatory, and students must be present for at least 70% of classes.
Registration for exams is mandatory.
Exams must be taken in person. Exceptions are granted only to students who are entitled under Law No. 104/1992 (or equivalent legislation in the student's country of residence) due to certified disability, or in cases of imprisonment, subject to official documentation and prior approval by the University.
Each course offers two exam dates per semester. Students can choose to take the exam on either of these scheduled dates. If a student fails the exam or officially withdraws on the first date, they are allowed to retake it on the second date.
The end of the Second Examination Period officially marks the end of the academic semester. Students can choose to take all exams in the First Period, all in the Second, or split them between the two. Be aware that exam dates and times may overlap—especially across different years, programs, or levels—so students might not be able to take all required exams during the First Examination Period. In such cases, the remaining exams can be taken during the Second Examination Period.
For certification purposes, the date of the final exam attempt will be recorded to confirm attendance.
