ACE – Triple Degree in Business

ACE – Triple Degree in Business is a program tailored to students who aspire to become future leaders in key business areas across North America, Europe, and East Asia. ACE helps students develop a solid understanding of the key drivers of management in global business environments. It equips them with critical and analytical skills, as well as diverse abilities like teamwork and effective communication, which can be applied across multiple cultural and business contexts.

Highlights

Up to 15 students enrolled in the first year of the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (BBA) can participate in ACE – Triple Degree in Business. They will have the opportunity to delve deeply into the social and business cultures of three different continents by experiencing the lifestyles of these historic capitals and the networking opportunities these global cities offer.

The course offers students a comprehensive and fully international perspective. In addition to business courses, students will study topics as diverse as quantitative methods, the Chinese language, and the humanities. Courses will be taught through interactive lectures, team-based projects, presentations, simulations, and the use of integrative case studies. Assessments will be conducted through real-case simulations, quizzes, presentations, projects, and presentations.

At the end of this educational journey, students will hold three different degrees from three different countries and will be thoroughly prepared for a leading role in international companies and institutions or for a top postgraduate degree.
 

Program Rules

During the mobility period, students will be subject to the rules of the partner universities. 

Upon accepting the selection, students agree to commit to a four-year study program and not to graduate from Luiss before the graduation sessions of the 2028/2029 academic year. 

Students will pay fees to Luiss for the entire four-year period, as per the university's rules. 

Students will cover all expenses related to participating in the program, including travel to and from the host universities, accommodation and food, administrative costs, visa fees, medical/health/accident insurance, books, application fees or deposits, and personal expenses. 

While every effort will be made to provide students with complete, accurate, and timely information, Luiss reserves the right to change, amend, modify, or revoke the aforementioned program. Luiss is not responsible for any cancellation or modification due to events beyond its control. If the program is canceled or modified for these reasons, Luiss will inform all interested students in a timely manner.

Program Structure

  • Year 1: Business Fundamentals at Luiss University (Rome) 
  • Year 2: Doing Business in Europe at Luiss University (Rome) 
  • Year 3: Doing Business in China at Renmin University (Beijing) 
  • Year 4: Doing Business in the U.S. at George Washington University (Washington, D.C.) 

The Program is subject to a particularly detailed credit recognition procedure. While it is formally classified as a three-year Bachelor’s degree corresponding to 180 ECTS credits, students are required to fulfill additional academic obligations in order to satisfy the requirements for the award of two further foreign degree qualifications.

Admissions

Who can apply

To apply to ACE, students must be enrolled in the first year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Luiss in the 2025/2026 academic year. Selections will be completed after the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.

Students who are Chinese nationals cannot apply to ACE through Luiss.

Ethnic Chinese students can apply to ACE through Luiss if they qualify as international students according to Document Jiaowaihan [2020]12 of the Chinese Ministry of Education and the RUC admission requirements for international students.

Available spots

Up to 15 students can participate in the program. Interested students must submit their application via Web Self Service from January 12, 2026, to January 22, 2026, at 4:00 PM.

Requirements 

  • To participate in the selection process, candidates must meet the following criteria: 
  • Hold a valid English language certificate from one of the following: 

    • TOEFL: a minimum score of 90

    • IELTS (Academic or Indicator): a minimum score of 6.5 

    • Pearson Test of English (Academic or Academic Online): a minimum score of 61 

    • Duolingo English Test: a minimum score of 120 

  • Have a GPA of 27/30 or higher, with no individual grade below 21/30, by February 4, 2026 

  • Having registered for at least three exams worth 20 ECTS credits by February 4, 2026 

Please note that the grade and credits for Coding in Action Lab – Mod. will not be considered for the ACE selection. 

Students with an HSK Chinese language certificate can upload it during the application process to earn additional points. Proficiency in the Chinese language is not a mandatory requirement.

The requirements listed above are subject to change. 

Please note that students must upload a valid passport. Therefore, if you don’t have one, make sure it’s available by January 2026.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be ranked based on the following: 

  • the criteria outlined above
  • the written test score 
  • the motivational interview

Registration with Renmin

Selected students must register on the Renmin University platform by February 24, 2026 (date subject to final confirmation by Renmin University). The first five students on the waiting list will also be invited to register with Renmin University.  

Please note that selected students will be required to upload their High School Transcript of Records (report cards) for the entire 5-year high school period, as well as their High School Diploma.  Both documents must be translated into English by a recognized translation company or translator. The translation does not need to be notarized or sworn, as long as it includes the translator's details. 

Selected students will receive further instructions after the selection results are announced.
