Key academic regulations
- Students who are interested are required to read the curriculum and the rules that apply to it. As a general rule, it is not possible to make changes to the curriculum.
- The exams listed in the curriculum must be taken and passed before the start of the mobility year.
- During the mobility period, students will be subject to the regulations of Solvay - ULB.
- Luiss students must choose their track at Solvay (Public Policy or Advanced International Economic Analysis) by the deadline communicated by the partner university.
Information about the dissertation
Detailed information about the procedures and their deadlines will be provided by the two universities during the course of the programme. For reference:
- Students will submit their dissertations to the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management in May/June and will defend them at Solvay in June and at Luiss in July (where possible, subject to Solvay's timely receipt of the transcript of records). Alternatively, they will submit their dissertations to Solvay in August and will defend them at Solvay in September and subsequently at Luiss.
- Students will work on their dissertations during their mobility period at Solvay, under the supervision of two supervisors – one from each university.
- Students are required to comply with the procedures and deadlines set by both institutions for completing their dissertations. Each university will assess the final dissertation in accordance with its own criteria and academic regulations.
- Students are reminded that they must follow Luiss's standard procedures for thesis allocation, registration for the final degree examination, and uploading the thesis to the dedicated platform.

- Students selected for a Double Degree programme are required to follow the curriculum set out for the year of mobility, including any changes, particularly those relating to language courses and other academic activities.

Admission Criteria (mobility year 2026/27)

English language requirements: Students must have a command of English at least equivalent to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference, as evidenced by one of the following qualifications:
English language certificates must not have been awarded more than two years before the programme start date (September 2026). |

Candidates who meet the admission requirements will be placed on the ranking list based on their academic record and the criteria set out in the table below. Academic records will be assessed based on the data available at the Student Administration Office by the deadline specified in the Call for Applications (usually mid-February).
