Features of the programme | The Double Degree in Politics: Philosophy and Economics, in partnership with Sciences Po Bordeaux, offers students the unique opportunity to spend a year at one of France’s leading institutions for political studies. There, they will develop methodological and analytical skills in political science, with a particular focus on disciplines such as international politics, economics, writing and rhetoric, and environmental studies. The school is located at the heart of an outstanding university hub, the Pessac-Talence-Gradignan campus, just 20 minutes from the centre of Bordeaux, a UNESCO World Heritage city. Who is eligible to apply? | The call for applications for the 2027–2028 mobility year is open to students enrolled in the second year of the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Politics: Philosophy and Economics during the 2026–2027 academic year. |

Fees and charges | Luiss students will pay their tuition fees to Luiss and will therefore be exempt from paying tuition fees at SPB. |
Qualifications awarded | Upon completion of the programme, students will be awarded a Bachelor's Degree in Politics: Philosophy and Economics by Luiss, and a Certificat de Fin d'Études de Premier Cycle (Bachelor's Degree in Political Studies) by SPB. To obtain the Double Degree, participants must comply with the rules and conditions set by both universities. |

Key academic regulations
- Students who are interested are required to read and understand the curriculum and its associated rules. Changes to the curriculum are generally not permitted.
- The listed examinations must be taken and passed in the academic year specified in the curriculum, and not at a later date.
- During the mobility period, students will be subject to SPB's rules.
Information about the thesis
Each university will provide detailed information about the procedures and timescales in due course. For your information:
- Students must comply with the procedures and deadlines set by both institutions for their dissertations.
- Students will complete their dissertation during the mobility period with the support of two supervisors: one from each university. Both supervisors must approve the dissertation proposal, which must meet the standards set by both institutions.
- Each institution will assess the final thesis in line with its own criteria.

- Students selected for a Double Degree Programme are required to follow the curriculum set out for their year of mobility, including any changes, particularly those relating to language courses and other academic activities.

Selection criteria (mobility year 2026/27)
Candidates who meet the admission requirements will be placed on the ranking list based on their academic record and the criteria set out in the table below. Academic records will be assessed based on the data available at the Student Administration Office by the deadline specified in the Call for Applications (usually mid-February).
