Evaluation Unit

Evaluation Unit

Starting in the 1999–2000 academic year, Luiss Guido Carli established the Evaluation Unit, thereby formalizing the university's internal evaluation activities that had already been piloted in previous years.

Introduced into universities through Laws 537/93 and 370/99, evaluation reflects and aligns with a broader trend that is sweeping through many productive and cultural entities. This trend stems from a growing awareness of the need to elevate traditional quality standards, refine user service, and facilitate the process of rationalizing and optimizing resources.

To address these needs, the Evaluation Unit at Luiss Guido Carli is conducting evaluations of the University's teaching and services. Its main goal is to capture the current situation by gathering data and information about the University, and then provide insights for improving the various activities and internal processes across the University as a whole. Ultimately, the guiding principle behind the Unit's evaluation activities is to serve as a central point for gathering key student feedback on the University's performance. It also aims to be a prime vantage point for observing and reflecting on the University's internal dynamics and processes, with the goal of highlighting its strengths and areas of excellence, and reporting any issues to the relevant bodies.

Therefore, each year, the Evaluation Unit produces a report that compiles data and information on the university as a whole.
