The Career Service is pleased to announce the 26th edition of Career Day, “Youth and Employment.” The event will be held in person over two days, May 9 and 10, 2022, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, in the outdoor spaces of the Viale Romania campus.

Throughout the day, students and graduates can meet with partner companies at dedicated desks to apply for jobs, request information, and get advice on how to embark on a successful career path.

But what exactly happens on May 9th and 10th?
You’ll have the chance to meet representatives and HR professionals from over 150 companies at the desks, network, and get helpful information and advice on starting a successful career through these three activities:

1. Meetings with recruiters at the desks
To schedule meetings with recruiters in the networking area located outside on the Viale Romania Campus, you'll need to use an online appointment booking system. To optimize visitor flow and ensure participant safety, you can reserve up to ten slots in total across both days.

2. Turbo Sessions
You can also use the same online system to book six Turbo Sessions—company presentations lasting about 40 minutes—held in indoor spaces that will be clearly marked on the event map.

3. One-on-One Interviews
You can also apply for open positions promoted on the Career Center platform. If you are selected by the employers participating in Career Day, you will be invited to a more in-depth one-on-one interview on one of the two days of the event on campus.

Focus on Institutions

For the first time, there will be a special focus on the institutions (state public administrations) participating in Career Day. This will provide students with an overview of career opportunities, recruitment principles, public competitions, and a typical workday.

CV Check

Finally, you can book a 20-minute CV review session with the Career Service team's career guidance experts to select the most suitable format for different market areas and the most effective content.

Please note: to attend Career Day, you must book at least one of the activities listed above and show your registration confirmation screen or the email inviting you to the one-on-one interviews to the staff at the entrance.

How to best prepare for your participation in Career Day

• Learn about the companies attending by checking their websites and industry publications, and gather information on job and career opportunities, as well as the necessary requirements.
• Prepare your CV and cover letter. For help with preparing your CV and cover letter or to improve your performance, you can contact the Career Advisors by booking an appointment through the Career Center portal in the appointments section.
• Prepare an elevator pitch.
• Plan your day by mapping out which companies will be present and booking interviews at their desks in advance.

Who can participate?

Participation in the event is reserved for fourth- and fifth-year law students, first- and second-year master’s students from all departments, master’s program students, and 2020, 2021, and 2022 graduates. Only students who are properly enrolled in the current academic year will be able to attend the event and book appointments for Career Day.
