LLM Educational Program in partnership with Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas
Highlights
The program provides a noteworthy international preparation in the field of European Law: upon completion of the program, students will obtain an LLM Degree in European Law. The subject areas allow students to gain a comprehensive understanding of European Law within the framework of the European Union.
It aims to recruit ambitious, determined, and motivated students, offering them the opportunity to learn in a challenging environment with world-class professors.
The program requires tuition fees.
In addition to tuition fees at Luiss, tuition payable to Université Paris Panthéon-Assas for the 2026–2027 academic year is €10,000, plus €250 in administrative fees and a national fee of €103.
Please note that tuition does not cover living expenses. Students will cover the cost of housing and meals.

Application Process
The Call for Applications will be published in early December 2025, and students will be able to apply starting January 8, 2026. Further information on the deadlines is provided in the table below. Details regarding the application process not available on this web page will be provided in the 2026/27 Call for Applications, which will be uploaded to the 'Useful documents' section at the bottom of this page.
Who can apply
Students enrolled in the fourth year of the single-cycle Master's program in Law. Depending on their major, fourth-year students can apply for:
• LL.M. in European Law, open to students majoring in European Law, Corporate and Tax Law, Business Law and Economics, Labor and Social Security Law, or Administrative Law
Available spots
Each year, a total of 2 students will participate in the program.
Requirements
Candidates for this program should meet the following requirements:
- have a minimum average grade of 27/30 or higher
- have earned at least 180 ECTS
- Regarding the English language, students must possess one of the following:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 100 IBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 7.0 (online test accepted)
- Certificate of Proficiency in English (Cambridge ESOL)
Language certificates must not be older than two years from the start of the mobility program (August/September 2026). Applicants must meet the requirements with a single test.
Selection Procedure
Luiss University will select a shortlist of candidates based on a non-disputable evaluation of the student's academic profile and motivation. Further details about the selection process will be published along with the call.
Results will be communicated to Université Paris Panthéon-Assas, which reserves the right to make the final selection.

Selection Criteria
The selection process involves three steps:
| Step 1 | Eligible candidates will be ranked based on an analysis of their academic performance (credits 53%, internship credits 2%, and weighted average grade 45%). |
| Step 2 | An interview will focus on the candidate's motivation, academic background, and previous international or professional experiences. |
| Step 3 | The partner universities, after analyzing the Luiss Commission ranking and the candidates’ dossiers, have the right to confirm the final ranking. |
