Career Day e Master Graduation

On Friday, May 4, 2018, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the Luiss Career Services office is organizing the 22nd edition of the career guidance day, “Youth and Employment,” on the campus at Viale Romania 32.

What is it?

This is an unmissable event for Luiss students and graduates who are interested in learning about, planning, and launching their professional careers in the corporate world. This year, we're introducing a new, digital format that will allow students to meet HR managers from leading national and international companies in a more interactive and engaging way. You'll be able to ask for information about professional career opportunities in a direct and informal way, and that's not all!

Career Day will feature a digital CV exchange, students preparing WildPitches , and many other initiatives, including selection through gamification and chatbots, as well as sessions dedicated to social recruiting.

Why participate?

The Career Day “Youth and the Workplace” is a unique opportunity to engage with company representatives and guide your career choices. Students will be able to gain a deeper understanding of companies, explore various career opportunities in the sector, build or strengthen their professional network, and initiate contact with a view to new professional opportunities. The event will also provide an opportunity to learn about the new social recruiting methods that companies have been adopting recently and to prepare for various types of assessments.

How to prepare

Networking with professionals requires proper preparation. Here are some tips to follow:

  • It's crucial to research the companies participating in the event well in advance—through their websites and industry publications—gathering information on their history and key achievements, as well as understanding the areas in which each operates.
  • Prepare a list of the companies you absolutely must meet with to make the best use of your time
  • Prepare your innovative WildPitch to impress recruiters
  • Try to prepare specific questions to ask the various delegates
  • Wear understated, formal attire
  • Remember to make the most of the entire event

The University's official profiles on major social networks will cover the day using the hashtag #LUISSCareerDay.
