The Luiss Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business, belonging to the L-33 degree class, offers an international and interdisciplinary education that combines economics, management, finance, law and quantitative methods.

The programme develops analytical skills, decision-making abilities, open-mindedness and a global perspective, preparing students to interpret complex economic and business phenomena. Particular attention is given to European institutions, market regulation, competition and antitrust.

Through lectures, workshops, project work, simulations and real-world cases, students learn to address economic, financial and managerial challenges from different perspectives, transforming theoretical knowledge into practical skills in analysis, problem-solving and collaboration.

The international environment, mobility opportunities and the Triple Degree with Université libre de Bruxelles and the Goethe-Universität Frankfurt prepare students for professional paths in institutions, consulting, finance and leading companies.

The study plan of the Luiss Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business combines a common foundation in the main areas of economics and business with the opportunity to personalise the study path through three majors.

During the first two years, students acquire fundamental knowledge in economics, management, mathematics, statistics, finance and law, building a rigorous and interdisciplinary background to understand the functioning of markets, companies and institutions.

In the third year, students can choose one of the three majors:

  • Management, dedicated to business strategy, organisation, entrepreneurship, innovation and the management of business processes.
  • Finance, focusing on capital markets, quantitative finance, financial intermediaries and the banking system.
  • Economics, focusing on international economics, growth, inequalities, public policies and competition dynamics.

The study plan combines theoretical courses with practical activities such as workshops, project work, simulations and seminars.
