International Honors Programme (IHP) - Stanford Summer Session, USA

Students who, in the 2026–2027 academic year, are enrolled in the second year of one of the following Bachelor's degree programmes are eligible to apply for participation. 

• Economics and Business; 
• Economia e Management; 
• Management and Artificial Intelligence; 
• Business Administration; 
• Scienze Politiche; 
• Politics: Philosophy and Economics. 

The International Honours Programme (IHP) is a fee-based programme. Selected students are required to pay the programme fees directly to Stanford University, in addition to the standard tuition fees payable to Luiss. 

For Summer Session 2027, the fees payable to Stanford will be as follows:

• $9,632 for 8 units, with 20% IHP tuition discount already applied;
• $ 3,626 for 8 weeks of shared on-campus housing. IHP students are required to live on campus;
• $ 2,102 for the mandatory dining plan. Dining plans are required for all undergraduate students living on campus during the Summer Quarter;
• $ 2,936 for Health Insurance (Cardinal Care). All students enrolled in courses at Stanford are required to have health insurance. Students may request a waiver by providing proof of alternative coverage that offers benefits comparable to those provided under Cardinal Care;
• $281 for the Campus Health Services Fee. This fee is mandatory for all registered students and cannot be waived;
• $160 for the I-20 Fee. This fee covers the cost of processing a student’s I-20 and is paid to the Bechtel International Center as part of the acceptance process;
• $250 for the Document Fee. This one-time university fee covers student record maintenance, transcript processing, and other Registrar Office-related services;
• $95 for House Dues. This fee supports activities and events organized by residential staff;
• $95 for the Technology Fee. This fee covers the cost of an in-room network connection and a telephone service;
• $30 for the Mail Service Fee. This fee covers the use of Stanford Package and Mailing Services during the summer.
