International Honours Programme (IHP) - Stanford Summer Session, USA

Students who, in the 2026–2027 academic year, are enrolled in the second year of one of the following Bachelor's degree programmes are eligible to apply for participation. 

• Economics and Business; 
• Economia e Management; 
• Management and Artificial Intelligence; 
• Business Administration; 
• Scienze Politiche; 
• Politics: Philosophy and Economics. 

The International Honours Programme (IHP) is a fee-based programme. Selected students are required to pay the programme fees directly to Stanford University, in addition to the standard tuition fees payable to Luiss. 

The fees for the 2026 Summer Session are based on the most recent edition of the programme. It should be noted that Stanford University reviews and updates the costs annually. Consequently, the fees for future editions may differ from those stated and will be published as soon as they are available. 

• $9,632 for 8 units, including a 20% reduction on the tuition fee already applied thanks to the IHP discount; 
• $3,399 for 8 weeks of accommodation in a shared residence on campus. Students on the International Honours Program (IHP) are required to live on campus; 
• $1,984 for dining plans, which are compulsory for all students living on campus during the Summer Quarter; 
• $2,058 for Cardinal Care health insurance. All students enrolled in courses at Stanford must have health insurance coverage. For the Summer Quarter, the University automatically enrols students in the Cardinal Care insurance plan. This fee can be waived by providing proof of suitable alternative insurance coverage that offers benefits comparable to those provided by Cardinal Care; 
• $271 for the Campus Health Services Fee. All enrolled students are required to pay a quarterly fee to cover the costs of services provided by the Vaden Health Center. This fee is mandatory and cannot be waived; 
• $160 for the I-20 Fee, which covers the costs of processing the I-20 form and is paid to the Bechtel International Center as part of the admissions process; 
• $250 for the Document Fee, a one-time charge that covers the costs of managing a student's academic record, processing transcript requests, and providing other administrative services offered by the Registrar's Office; 
• $94 for House Dues, a fee used to fund activities and events organised by the staff of the university residences; 
• $94 for the Technology Fee, which covers the costs of the in-room network connection and the local telephone service; 
• $32 for the Mail Service Fee, a compulsory charge for all students living on campus, which covers the use of services for receiving and handling mail and parcels during the summer period.
