The Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration provides students with a solid theoretical and applied foundation in the methods and principles of business economics, integrating management, economics, finance, law, quantitative methods and IT skills.
The programme develops analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, preparing students to understand business dynamics and address the challenges of constantly evolving international markets.
Multidisciplinarity and an international outlook are distinctive features of the programme. Through the analysis of real-world cases, workshops, project-based activities and applied methodologies, students learn to translate theoretical knowledge into practical managerial skills.
Particular attention is devoted to IT and data analysis, through coding workshops and the use of specialised software for processing and interpreting business information.
Director
The study plan of Luiss’ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration provides an interdisciplinary education across the main areas of economics, management, quantitative methods, IT and law.
During the first two years, students explore management, economics, mathematics, statistics, law and coding, together with accounting, marketing, business strategy, finance, macroeconomics, industrial economics and quantitative methods for data analysis.
In the third year, students can personalise their study path by choosing one of the following tracks:

- International Strategy and Management
The curriculum also includes a second foreign language, humanities courses, workshops, project-based activities and the Grand Challenge. The programme is completed by an internship or company project, allowing students to apply the skills they have acquired to real-world professional contexts.

This course aims to equip students with the tools they need to understand individual consumption and production choices within different institutional frameworks, both under conditions of certainty and uncertainty. The course examines how the market works and its allocative properties.
Principles of Accounting
The course aims to equip students with a broad vocabulary in accounting and business. Students will be able to develop the ability to understand, prepare, and compare financial reports.
Calculus
The course aims to equip first-year economics students with the key mathematical methodologies used to tackle a wide range of applied problems in economics, business, finance, and insurance.
Foundations of Corporate Law and Governance
The course enables students to develop the skills needed to master the fundamentals of commercial law, not only within a national context but also with an eye on international practice.
Fundamentals of Management
The course introduces students to the fundamentals of management theory and practice. It combines fundamental concepts from business economics theory and industrial organization with insights from contemporary strategic literature.
Statistics
The course aims to provide students with a solid foundation in probability and mathematical statistics, potentially including an introductory exploration of statistical software.
Macroeconomics
The course aims to provide the methodological and theoretical tools to understand how economies work and to explain past and current economic developments.
Coding in Action Lab
The course aims to teach the fundamentals of programming to students with no prior programming experience, fostering a mindset geared toward computational thinking.
Computer Skills Lab

Financial Statement Analysis
The course focuses on using financial statements, particularly for analysis and valuation. Students will learn how to use accounting and financial information to analyze a company's financial performance and assess its capital.
EU Law
The course will strengthen students' skills in using comparative legal analysis and provide all relevant information on EU legislation concerning corporate law and governance.
Industrial Economics
The course aims to make students aware of the complexity of business logic and to equip them with the skills to develop a framework for understanding the evolving logic of manufacturing globally and within the Italian context.
Applied Business Statistics
The course enables students to learn the theory and practical implementation of estimating a linear model using the least squares method. They will also learn how to assess the suitability of different model specifications to address empirical questions in economics.
Distinctive and Employability Skills Lab
The course aims to guide students toward an excellent professional career. To that end, the course will focus on a range of skills through hands-on exercises, including communication, adaptability, leadership, and writing skills, which will enable students to better navigate our increasingly complex and challenging work environment. The course will be delivered in January and February.
