The Fondazione Contessa Lene Thun ONLUS is dedicated to implementing “recreational therapy” projects through ceramic modeling. Operating in various settings involving illness and hardship, especially among children and young people in hospitals, it becomes genuine psychological support during periods of illness. Bringing joy is even more important and beautiful when it benefits the little ones. Working with clay becomes a genuine form of non-verbal communication, especially for children who struggle to express their emotions and whose illness prevents them from experiencing play and fun.

Volunteers taking part in this collaboration will attend an introductory online training session with the foundation's professionals. Afterward, students will work in groups to develop a fundraising project—either by organizing a small event or launching an online campaign—for one or more ceramic therapy workshops. They will then present their project to the Foundation's fundraising and communications team.
