Academic Gym
Academic Gym activities are practical, experiential workshops designed to enrich students' education, offering the opportunity to develop skills that complement those acquired in their degree courses. With a strong focus on practical application, these workshops allow students to deepen their subject-specific, transferable, creative, and digital skills, while also fostering greater awareness of issues such as inclusion, sustainability, and the value of diversity.
The workshops generally take place from Monday to Thursday, between 5:00 pm and 8:30 pm, at the various Luiss campuses.
The educational offering is divided into five thematic areas, each dedicated to developing specific skills:
- Creative Gym: to stimulate creativity, innovation, and design thinking.
- Digital Gym: to develop and strengthen digital and technological skills.
- Professional Gym: to delve deeper into content closely linked to degree programmes and acquire useful tools for the world of work.
- Soft Gym: to strengthen soft skills, as well as interpersonal and emotional skills.
- Sustainability, Diversity and Inclusion Gym: to explore the topics of sustainability, inclusion and valuing diversity, fostering a responsible and conscious culture.
Like many other intellectual skills, creativity also requires training and dedication to be cultivated and put to use in our activities, both in study and at work. This section features a series of workshops designed to stimulate the creative process, allowing students to broaden their interests and acquire languages and narrative codes that are useful for understanding the world and for personal development. The offering is constantly updated and includes workshops in Writing and Photography, Editing, Screenwriting, Photographic Post-Production, and Creating a Television and Radio Format.
