The Rio de Oro Gavardo ONLUS association is a non-profit organization that has been active in the Brescia area since 2007. It carries out solidarity projects to support children with disabilities and their families in the Saharawi refugee camps (southern Algeria) and in Italy, through health care stays organized during the summer months in several municipalities in the Brescia area. The association is built on the pillars of equality among peoples, cooperation, solidarity, the protection of human rights, and the fight against inequality.
Given that we are unable to host our summer program and, consequently, cannot accommodate Luiss University students for an on-site volunteer experience during this project, we are happy to accept the proposal to carry out the project remotely.
