Tuition fee: deadlines and amounts for Bachelor's degrees and Single-Cycle Master's degree in Law

Enrollment for the current academic year is conditional upon payment of the annual Single Fee, together with the regional fee for the right to university education. The University's fee system is described as "single" because it does not differentiate between income brackets.

To make things easier for students, Luiss Guido Carli allows payments to be made in instalments, in line with the deadlines set out in the document below:

Updated Fees – Academic Year 2027/2028

The amounts apply only to students enrolled in the first year of the following courses:

From the 2016/2017 academic year onwards, if a student requests it, the Single Fee will be reduced by 20% when siblings are enrolled in the same academic year at the same time. The reduction will be applied to the course of study of the younger sibling.

The deadline for enrolling in the first year is final and cannot be extended. Consequently, once the deadline has passed, enrolment cannot be regularised by paying a penalty.

Based on the provision in Article 27 of Royal Decree No. 1269/38, it is also worth noting that: "A student who has been enrolled for a year of a university course is not entitled, under any circumstances, to a refund of the fees, surcharges, and contributions paid."

Payments must be made via the PagoPA platform from your personal page on the Web Self Service portal (Enrolment > Payments > Payments to be made > Payment Slip ID).

Instalments must be paid by the published due dates. However, for each instalment, there is a grace period of seven days after the due date (including Saturdays and public holidays).

Late payment

Late payment will incur a late fee of €50.00 for each full or part month. After the first month, the late payment penalty will be calculated from the instalment's due date.

For students currently enrolled (in years after the first) who fail to meet the deadline for paying the first instalment, a penalty of €300.00 will be applied – in addition to the late payment charge – starting from the eighth day after the deadline.

Payment instructions for late-payment charges or penalties will be generated automatically by the IT system only after the instalment payments have been received. They will be available in the student's Web Self Service area and can be paid via the PagoPA platform.
