  • Installation of red benches on campuses - On November 25, 2023, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Luiss installed five red benches featuring anti-violence messages on the campuses of Viale Pola, Viale Romania, Via Parenzo, Villa Blanc, and at the Library.

  • Installation of feminine pad dispensers in restrooms - In line with the Luiss Gender Equality Plan, in 2023 the University launched a project in collaboration with This Unique to break down stereotypes related to the menstrual cycle, raise awareness of gender issues, and foster a greater sense of inclusion. The initiative is aimed at staff, faculty, female students, and the entire Luiss community.

  • #donneSTEM - For several years now, Luiss has been designing and launching highly innovative training programs, particularly expanding the study of cutting-edge technical and IT subjects such as Coding, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data.  This is closely tied to the need to foster a broader, more inclusive culture by developing skills that are open to diversity and innovation, with a particular focus on increasing the number of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. At Luiss, this goal has long been realized, leading to collaborations and agreements with leading Italian corporate groups in the energy, services, and telecommunications sectors through the #donneSTEM Project. Through this forward-thinking initiative, Luiss has been able to support the education of several brilliant young women interested in pursuing careers in IT with dedicated scholarships.
