Projects
- Mediterranean Project - Since 2017, the Mediterranean Project has aimed to educate refugee students from Mediterranean countries, providing them with the opportunity to study in Luiss Bachelor's and Master's degree programs.
- Unicore - In 2019, Luiss was among the first Italian universities to join UNHCR’s “UNICORE-Corridoi universitari” project, which enables young refugees from Ethiopia to study at Italian universities.
- Sub-Saharan Africa Project - developed in collaboration with Eni in 2019, the Sub-Saharan Africa Project is a program that enables students from Angola, Mozambique, Nigeria, Congo, Ghana, and Burundi to pursue Bachelor's or Master's degree programs at Luiss.
- Pax Humana Hub - a strategic hub for peace, security, and development in the Afro-Mediterranean region, promoted by Ara Pacis Initiatives for Peace. Pax Humana is an open platform with founding partners including Ara Pacis, Luiss, Eni, Coldiretti, Terna, and Sky TG24.
- Medor - Since 2021, Luiss has partnered with the Medor Foundation and the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University to welcome talented young people from Morocco into Luiss master’s programs.
- Reconnect Luiss – Launched in 2020-2021, this program aims to foster a mentoring relationship throughout the entire university journey between a select group of Alumni and an equally select and motivated group of Luiss students. Both alumni and students share the common experience of having the opportunity to study at Luiss through a scholarship.
