The Mentoring Program fosters a guided relationship between Luiss Alumni, Juniors (Mentees), and Seniors (Mentors). Through this program, mentors voluntarily and altruistically share their expertise, helping Mentees reach their full potential and make more informed, crucial decisions for their future. 

The mentoring relationship serves as the University’s “caregiving” to its youngest graduates, continuing to support them in their personal and professional growth even after they complete their studies.

Specifically, the Program involves:  

• Senior Alumni (Mentors) are experienced professionals who, drawing on their Luiss background and driven by a spirit of “giving back,” offer their experience and core values to guide young graduates in this phase of their professional and personal journeys. 
• Junior Alumni (Mentees), Luiss graduates, three years after earning their Master's Degree or Single-Cycle Degree.

Interacting with Junior Alumni provides the Mentor with fresh and stimulating opportunities for discussion, as well as the chance to stay connected to the University. The Mentor is added to a Mentor Directory of selected Alumni and is involved in dedicated events and networking meetings.

A profiling questionnaire allows the Mentoring Team to create the optimal match. Therefore, for each Mentee, the most suitable Mentor is identified using the information provided during the application process.  

The program consists of meetings between the Mentor and the Mentee, spread out over a six-month period.

The call for applications opens every fall/winter and is open to all graduates three years after the date they earned their Master's Degree or Single-Cycle Degree. Targeted alumni will receive an email with all the necessary instructions for applying.
