Luiss Green Mobility
Luiss Green Mobility is the university’s smart, connected, and shared mobility service. It enables students, faculty, staff, and management to travel sustainably, with a focus on respecting nature and the common good.
Various e-mobility services are available across all university campuses, including car sharing with electric vehicles, bike sharing with pedal-assisted electric bikes, and charging points. Luiss Green Mobility also covers the university shuttles, all of which are environmentally friendly.
The project, a pilot within the European university landscape, is part of a broader sustainable development strategy promoted by Luiss. It aligns with the themes of the 2030 Agenda and includes targeted initiatives and an educational offering focused on fostering a culture of sustainability.
Shuttle Service
The Luiss Shuttle Service is the shuttle service that connects the Luiss Campuses in Romania and Poreč. It operates Monday to Friday from 7:45 am to 8:55 pm and on Saturdays from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. During peak periods, there is a shuttle every 10 minutes, while on Saturdays and weekdays, the service runs every 20 minutes.
It is managed by Cilia Italia (RATP Development) and represents a highly innovative, environmentally friendly, shared transport system, using five shuttles: three gas-powered and two fully electric.
You can book the Shuttle Service via the Luiss App, which also lets you:
- check the location of the shuttles
- arrival times at the stop
- book a seat on vehicles accessible to people with reduced mobility
The booking must be confirmed within 5 minutes of the shuttle's departure; otherwise, the booking will be cancelled.
Booked but unused trips must be cancelled before the booking deadline in the dedicated “My Bookings” section.
If you fail to use more than two bookings without cancelling them in advance, you will not be able to use the service for the following week.

Luiss Electric Car Sharing
Luiss Electric Car Sharing is a service managed by Acea A.Cities
The service, reserved for Luiss students, faculty, and staff, offers Renault R5s for hire at the charging points installed on Luiss campuses.
To use Luiss Electric Car Sharing, you must:
- have a valid driving licence
- be a student and/or an authorised Luiss user
Accessing the service is easy – just follow these steps:
- Go to www.luiss.bomts.it
- Fill out the registration form.
- Accept and sign the forms online (by ticking the confirmation box).
- Once you've completed registration, your profile will be validated and enabled
- Once enabled, download the Luiss App and go to the “Green Mobility” section to manage your rentals.
And remember: the service only works through the Luiss!

The initiative offers a range of integrated mobility services designed to make your daily commute easier, more affordable, and more sustainable:
- pay for parking, local public transport tickets, trains, and shared vehicles, book taxis, and charge electric cars—all from a single app and at discounted prices;
- a carpooling system exclusively for the Luiss Community;
- daily updates on urban mobility.
Download the Mobility Company app, log in with your Luiss credentials, and enter the code “luiss” to discover all its features.
