Start-Up Design
The program is open to all students enrolled in the 2019–2020 academic year in the first year of a Master’s degree program in the Departments of Economics and Finance or Political Science, or in the third year of the Single-Cycle Master’s degree program in Law.
The program is completely free, and attending it earns you 4 university credits under the “Other Activities” category in your curriculum.
The program spans a total of 40 hours, divided into 10 modules of 4 hours each. To have your University Credits recognized, you must attend 80% of the total hours, which amounts to 32 hours. This means you can be absent for a maximum of 8 hours.
The course will take place entirely during the second semester (February–May 2020).
There are no editions in English.
The course's strategic objective is to equip students with professional tools and methodologies for the structured planning and promotion of social innovation startups.
The educational goal is for participants to independently build a social and shared learning path focused on the operational processes and problem-solving dynamics that teams will need to implement during the training experience.
Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to discuss a wide range of topics related to design thinking, digital culture, and its business potential, maximizing the capacity of new technologies to innovate, communicate, and spread ideas.
Students will be divided into operational teams and will develop a startup project, from the initial idea to the business model. On the final day, there will be a startup competition where each team will present their project to a panel of experts.
The course will cover the following subject areas:
Digital Transformation,
