Review in the original language - Spring 2014
In March 2014, LUISS students took part in the first film festival featuring films in their original language, with five screenings:
- Wednesday, March 5, 2014: The King's Speech - 2010, directed by Tom Hooper and starring Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush, Helena Bonham Carter, and Guy Pearce, 114'
- Wednesday, April 2, 2014: Pride & Prejudice - 2005, directed by Joe Wright and starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen, 121'
- Wednesday, April 9, 2014: A Single Man - 2009, directed by Tom Ford and starring Colin Firth and Julianne Moore, 95’
- Wednesday, May 7, 2014: The Great Debaters - 2005, directed by Denzel Washington and starring Denzel Washington and Forest Whitaker, 123’
- Wednesday, June 11, 2014: Bright Star - 2009, directed by Jane Campion and starring Ben Whishaw and Abbie Cornish, 119'
The screenings, with free admission, took place in the Sala delle Colonne.
