a musical journey through Grease and George Lucas's American Graffiti.

The final night of high school before college for a group of friends—the characters from George Lucas’s American Graffiti—who shared experiences, passions, heartaches, and dreams in a small American town. But also the stories, destinies, and anxieties of those who – the protagonists of the musical Grease – still have a year of school ahead of them before taking flight. A parade of faces, moments, and songs captured on an unforgettable summer night when anything is still possible— a night that also marks the transition to adulthood and the shattering of illusions.
The Thunderbirds, the Scorpions, and the Pink Ladies; hair slicked with grease and leather jackets; the wild dancing of Grease; the legends of the drive-in, the jukebox, and rock and roll; the echo of John F. Kennedy’s speeches—these are just a few of the characters and themes that will bring our “American stage” to life. It’s a glimpse into an era that deeply shaped our modern history, where we can all find fragments of our youthful dreams.
