Single contribution: deadlines and amounts

Single contribution: deadlines and amounts

To enroll in the current academic year, you must pay the annual Single Contribution fee along with the regional tax for the right to university education. The University’s fee system is called “single” because it doesn’t divide students into income brackets.

To make things easier for students, Luiss Guido Carli offers payment in installments according to the schedule outlined in the document below:

Starting in the 2016/2017 academic year, upon the student’s notification, there will be a 20% reduction in the Single Contribution if siblings are enrolled in the same academic year. The reduction will be applied to the academic record of the minor.

The deadline for first-year enrollment is non-extendable, meaning it cannot be met after the deadline by paying a penalty.

Based on the provision in Article 27 of Royal Decree No. 1269/38, please also note that: “A student who has been enrolled in a year of a university course is not entitled, under any circumstances, to a refund of the fees, surcharges, or contributions paid.”

Payments must be made from the personal Web Self Service page (Enrollment > Payments > Payments to be made > Bill ID) via the PagoPA platform.

Installments must be paid by the due dates; however, there is a seven-day grace period after the due date for each installment (including Saturdays and holidays).

Late payment

Late payment incurs a late fee of €50.00 for each month or part thereof. After the first month, the late payment fee will be calculated starting from the installment’s due date.

For students enrolled in subsequent years (after the first year) who miss the deadline for the first installment payment, a penalty of €300.00 will apply, starting from the eighth day after the due date, in addition to the late payment fee.

Payment instructions for late fees or penalties will be automatically generated by the computer system only after the installment payment is received. They will be available in the student’s  Web Self Service area and can be paid through the PagoPA platform.
