In the year of Expo Milano 2015, the largest event ever held on food and nutrition, LUISS aims to engage its students in a journey dedicated to food culture and the discovery of flavors that respect the land and the culinary traditions of Italy and the world.
The initiative consists of a series of tasting sessions , each focusing on a specific food or beverage. These sessions will aim to highlight common consumption habits while also offering new culinary experiences.
The tastings will be presented by the company, which, in addition to showcasing the product, will share insights into its business and the product's position in the market.
Dr. Chiarastella Sorino, a LUISS dietitian, will also be present at each session. She will provide guidance and advice on the proper consumption of the product and its possible pairings within a healthy, balanced diet, with a particular focus on seasonality.
The sessions will take place in the cafeteria at the Viale Romania campus from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
To join the tasting sessions, which have a limited number of participants, please email attivitaculturali@luiss.it by October 2, 2015, using your LUISS email address. Be sure to include a phone number and specify which session you're interested in.
To encourage more students to participate, you can register for just one session and request to be placed on the waiting list for the others.
