Storytelling, 2016–2017 academic year

Workshop di storytelling

The course, taught by instructor Valentina Faloni, aims to provide the method and tools needed to create successful stories through different forms of storytelling: narrative, cinema, fiction, documentary, the web, photography, and music.

By exploring the different layers of storytelling, the cornerstones of a narrative, dramaturgy, and the stages of a character’s transformation, students will be able to develop and bring to life a personal creative project that expresses the narrative form best suited to their talents.

Each lesson is designed as a workshop where you can experiment with creative writing, starting with brainstorming, images, music, and ideas from narratives and news stories. Participants will also have the opportunity to work in pairs or groups with students from the Photography Workshop to create an experimental storytelling project.
