Digital transformation is an essential requirement for the ongoing development of organizations and the country. However, it brings with it major technological, cultural, and organizational changes that not only impact users, businesses, and national and international public administrations on a daily basis. Technological developments like the IoT, the cloud, social media, and mobile are just a few of the emerging issues that all public and private organizations must address.
Digital Transformation thus presents growing opportunities for businesses and organizational structures. To seize these opportunities, they must build adequate protection systems based not only on technological knowledge but also on managerial, economic, legal, and policy-related expertise and skills. In fact, in addition to traditional threats from cyberspace, there are now new attack methods that are increasingly targeted, social, and persistent.

Therefore, the benefits of digital transformation can only be realized in a secure, reliable environment that respects users' rights. This means that all organizations need to bring in cybersecurity experts with a comprehensive perspective, who can manage processes, applications, and infrastructure with a strategic vision and possess legal, managerial, and economic skills.

This Level II Master's Degree, a collaborative effort of the four schools at Luiss Guido Carli , offers advanced training in cybersecurity. It features instructors with multidisciplinary backgrounds and national and international experts, all within an innovative educational framework.
