Master's in Fashion Law
Master's in Fashion Law
“Made in Italy” has always been synonymous with excellence and guarantees originality, refinement, elegance, and quality. The “Italian style,” in particular, is unmistakable, admired, and envied worldwide. Italy, and specifically Rome, with its long tradition of craftsmanship and unparalleled beauty, is the ideal location for advanced studies in this field. It serves as the perfect vantage point, from both an international and European perspective, for understanding the numerous legal implications that affect the entire life cycle of a fashion product.
Indeed, the fashion sector is undoubtedly one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing markets, both nationally and internationally. The constant evolution of economic relationships consequently gives rise to numerous legal issues.
The Level II Master’s (LL.M.) in Fashion Law, offered by the Luiss School of Law, examines fashion from a legal perspective. Its goal is to provide participants with highly qualified legal training covering the various stages in the life cycle of fashion products. Specifically, the course covers topics such as the fundamental regulatory framework for the fashion industry, legal protection at the European and international levels from the creation to the production of a fashion product, the legal aspects of marketing and distribution models in fashion and design, the challenges posed by the digital market, the regulation of communication and advertising strategies, corporate social responsibility in the sector, and dispute resolution systems.
The Master’s (LL.M.) in Fashion Law is therefore an innovative opportunity to gain direct exposure to a specific, high-caliber professional environment.
The program consists of seven modules, as described below:
- The fashion industry: business models and the legal framework
- From the creation of a fashion product to its production: European and international protection
