Instructional goals
The course aims to develop advanced topics in Corporate Finance and in particular: the valuation of companies through financial techniques and multiples; the securities market and the activities of issuing securities and shares, corporate mergers and acquisitions, project finance; private debt and private equity, venture capital, crisis and restructuring of the company.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of fundamental financial mathematics techniques, net present value, investment evaluation.
Intended learning outcomes
Students must be able to analyze current and prospective accounting data, evaluate different financing solutions, build financial models to support industrial plans and company valuations.

Business analysis and valuations. Valuation methodologies based on discounted cash flows. Relative valuation methodologies (multiples). The issuance and placement of securities. Corporate mergers and acquisitions. Project finance. Private debt and private equity. Venture capital. Business crisis and restructuring
