Opportunities and Networking
Luiss Career Service: an active support system from your first year
The Luiss Career Service supports students in building their professional path through guidance, networking, recruitment, and personalized career development activities that are integrated throughout their university journey. Activities begin in the first year and are structured across multiple levels to ensure students graduate with skills, experience, and tools that are immediately applicable in the workplace.
Luiss events that open doors to the world of work
- Luiss Career Day is one of the leading university recruiting events, featuring over 160 partner employers and thousands of meetings between students and recruiters each year.
- In addition to Career Day, the Career Service calendar features year-round vertical events by sector: Banking & Finance Days (usually in September) dedicated to investment banks, private equity funds, and asset management companies; Career Day for Social Impact (usually in March) aimed at NGOs, public institutions, and international organizations; and Luiss Brussels Days for organizations operating at the heart of European institutions.
Three specialized formats, three vertical and targeted talent pools, to identify the right profiles in the right context.
- Luiss Summer Internship Program: structured summer internships to gain specific and transferable skills while still in school
- Turbo Sessions and company presentations: targeted meetings with HR and recruiters from specific companies
- Networking Café: informal networking opportunities with managers and professionals
International Careers: Global Experience, Networking, and Opportunities
Internationality is an integral part of the Luiss learning journey. Through mobility programs, internships, double degrees, and academic partnerships, students can gain professional and academic experience in international settings while still in college. Through a network of structured programs, each student can gain professional experience abroad before graduation, working in European institutions, Italian embassies around the world, and international organizations.

Luiss is also a founding member of ENGAGE.EU, an alliance of 10 European universities of excellence in the economic and social sciences, funded by the European Commission. The alliance provides Luiss students with access to short-term mobility programs (3-5 day Study Tours), international co-design workshops addressing real-world challenges, and scientific collaboration opportunities with researchers and doctoral students from across Europe.
