The call for applications for a collaboration contract under the André Hoffmann Fellowship program is now online.

Interested candidates must submit their applications by 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 26.

The Hoffmann Fellowship for the Fourth Industrial Revolution enables emerging scholars specializing in the intersection of environment, health, technology, society, and politics to play an active role in shaping the world of tomorrow by participating in projects managed by the World Economic Forum.

The purpose of this selection process is to identify a collaborator who will conduct research on the “Hoffmann Fellow, Data and Digital, Food & Water” project. The aim is to explore how to transform food systems to address issues of accessibility, nutrition, and the sustainability of food supply, in line with the SDGs and the Paris Agreement on climate change. This will also consider the importance of innovation in accelerating the transition to more sustainable and efficient food systems.

The coordinated and ongoing collaboration contract will run for 24 months.

The following documents must be attached to the application for admission to the selection process:

  • curriculum vitae;
  • a copy of a valid ID;
  • a certificate of a four-year degree/master's degree or a comparable academic qualification obtained abroad;
  • a list of any scientific publications;
  • an electronic copy of the three publications the candidate deems relevant for the fellowship, including any degree and/or doctoral theses.

The selection of the winner, which will be carried out by a dedicated Evaluation Committee, will consist of a preliminary assessment of the candidates' qualifications and an interview.

The selection process results and the final ranking will be posted on the relevant Luiss web page, along with any list of candidates invited for an interview, the interview time, and the method or location for the interview.
