Luiss and ANIA join forces to train the managers of the future
Greater integration between insurance companies and universities to provide top-tier management training in the insurance sector, and the development of a specialization program for those who aim to tackle and manage the sector’s growing complexities.
With this goal in mind, a collaboration agreement was signed today at Villa Blanc, the headquarters of the Luiss Business School, between Luiss and ANIA, the National Association of Insurance Companies.
The meeting was attended by Giovanni Lo Storto, General Director of Luiss; Enzo Peruffo, Associate Dean for Education at Luiss Business School; and Umberto Guidoni and Angelo Doni, Co-General Directors of ANIA.
The insurance sector is undergoing significant changes, with a growing focus on compliance and new market regulations. This requires professionals who are ready to manage and lead technological innovation and sustainable governance.
To meet this need, Luiss Business School and ANIA will collaborate on the development and implementation of the Major in Insurance Management within the Executive Master in Financial Management, starting in November 2022.
The 12-month Level II Master’s program includes “Core Courses” focused on the fundamental techniques of Financial Management, as well as “Specialization Courses” that provide in-depth knowledge, operational tools, and technical skills essential for effectively holding leadership roles in insurance management.
The program is enhanced by the opportunity to participate in online workshops. These workshops help refine cognitive, emotional, and interpersonal skills (Life Skills Lab) and develop the ability to analyze business dynamics in light of major changes in the economic, financial, and technological sectors (Megatrends Skills Lab). Additionally, participants can take international modules offered by business schools abroad to enhance their resumes and learn about educational systems in other countries.
