Luiss launches its “Summer University” in a digital format

Registration is now open for summer specialization courses in English 

From Made in Italy to Food Law, from Neuromarketing to digital innovation, from the economy in the time of COVID-19 to geopolitical shifts in the Mediterranean region, and even Sports Management—plus more. The educational offerings of Luiss Guido Carli’s “Summer University” have expanded, featuring digital courses for advanced training and specialization on highly relevant macro-themes. These courses are developed in collaboration with prestigious partners such as Renmin University of China, Georgetown University, and global companies like WPP.

Delivered entirely in English by a world-class faculty, these sixteen programs—each lasting one or more weeks—kick off on Monday, June 22. They are designed for all undergraduate and graduate students who, as they prepare for the new academic year, will have the opportunity to learn about the university’s educational model and enjoy a unique, enriching experience.

In keeping with the #LuissNonSiFerma motto, which enabled the transition of educational activities, graduation sessions, and exams to an online format during the health emergency, the Summer University courses will be delivered entirely digitally and in real-time, live mode to ensure interaction between the instructor and participants.

Each course will be structured with an innovative teaching method based on a “T-shape” approach. This will allow for both vertical exploration—with in-depth analysis of real-world problems—and horizontal connections, fostering interdisciplinary links and examining key contemporary phenomena from a broad, generalist perspective that remains highly specialized and precise.

The courses will be enriched not only by insights from highly experienced managers but also by policy-making workshops and case study analyses. These, by combining theoretical applications with practical exercises, will ensure flexibility and versatility for students in their growth and learning processes.

Each week of the course will earn students 4 credits.
