Luiss on a mission in Milan
Luiss on a mission in Milan
Three I's: Internationalization, Interdisciplinarity, and Innovation. Two new courses taught entirely in English: “Management and Artificial Intelligence” and “Global Law.” A unique Triple degree, the only one of its kind in the world, ACE (America, China, Europe), will allow students to earn three degrees from Luiss, George Washington University, and Renmin University of China. But that’s not all. There’s also the “Luiss Enquirer,” an innovative educational model where the rigor of scientific research meets “active learning” to shape a new generation of professionals.
These are just some of the new developments that the Free International University of Social Studies will present to students from Lombardy and aspiring global leaders during the event “Luiss Enquirer: Thoughts and Practical Experiences on How Luiss Shapes the Professionals of Today and Tomorrow.” The event will take place on Wednesday, December 13, at 2:00 PM at the Milano Luiss Hub on Via Massimo d'Azeglio, in the heart of the Innovation District.
Luiss is therefore returning to Milan, bringing with it prominent guests from academia, the professions, and the world of business. They will lead a roundtable discussion on the importance of job satisfaction and self-achievement in a workplace increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence. The event will feature a talk by Luiss Marketing Professor Simona Romani, along with insights from alumni who hold key managerial roles in Italian and international companies, including Martina Capriotti, the young co-founder of MIRTA; Luca Valerio Camerano, Managing Director at Algebris Investments; and Livia Alessandro, HR Director at Amgen. Matteo de Angelis, Marketing Strategy Definition Advisor at Luiss, will moderate the event.
Following this, academic representatives from the Guido Carli University will provide an overview of the university’s educational offerings in the fields of economics, management, political studies, and law. They will also highlight new job opportunities across various sectors, including cybersecurity, big data, data science, the new frontiers of artificial intelligence, sustainability, and the social sciences.
The event will give young talents from Milan a first-hand experience of Luiss’s “Inquiry-based” approach, a profoundly innovative educational model designed to stimulate students’ critical thinking and boost their creativity. This unique learning method has enabled the University named after Guido Carli to rank 14th globally and 2nd in the European Union for Political and International Studies, according to the authoritative QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023. It also ranks among the top 50 in the fields of Business and Management and Law.
For this event, information will be provided about the upcoming admission tests for the Bachelor’s and Single-Cycle Master’s degree programs, which will be held in two sessions from February 20 to 23 and from May 14 to 16, 2024, as well as for the Master’s degree programs scheduled from April 16 to 19, 2024.
