Obiettivi formativi
The course aims at giving specific notions on civil procedure in Italy, with particular attention to special procedures, alternatives to justice administered by the State; civil execution; provisional measures.

The students will learn about the special procedures applied in Italian civil justice, deepening their prior knowledge, in a theoretical and practical perspective, of Italian civil
litigation.
Contenuti Del Corso
The course will focus on special procedures (labor disputes; family disputes; injunctive procedures; class actions); execution and relevant types/forms; provisional measures and the respective procedural rules, as well as ADR.

Reference texts will consist of reading materials indicated and/or
circulated prior to or after each lesson, texts of national and
supranational case law, excerpts from a selected bibliography. Illustrative

Metodologie Didattiche
The course will combine frontal lessons and seminars with active
participation and teamwork by students.
Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
The final examination will consist of an overall assessment of each
student performance throughout the entire duration of the course. Oral
colloquium.

1. Special procedures: introduction. Fragmentation and reasons for special procedural rules. Trans-substantivity of civil procedure v. social functions of the civil justice system.
