Executive Course in Strategic Affairs
State actors and economists alike are often faced with making strategic decisions that have global repercussions. These often come with elevated levels of risk, both for the resources involved and for the very security of citizens and businesses. Proper evaluation of any potential danger can be accomplished if one possesses the right analytical skills and understanding of geopolitical equations and the crises at hand –– and is then equipped to view them through a global lens.
The only course of its kind in Italy, this specialization was created to help equip firms and individuals to face international competition in all its complexities, while simultaneously protecting one’s interests and national security. The course takes an interdisciplinary and policy-oriented approach, analyzing socio-political, legal, economic, and technological phenomena to train political consultants who can assess risk and weigh it against the various strategic options available.
The course is ideal for recent graduates, public officials, or executives and sector analysts in the private sector. It is ideal for those with a strong interest in developing quantitative and qualitative methodologies as experts in process management and strategic analysis, to support decision-makers in risk assessment and making judgment calls.
The course is offered in collaboration with the Department of Information Security at the Prime Minister's Office.
