How to make work groups truly function

On Tuesday, May 13, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, the Aula Toti on the Viale Romania campus will host the informative seminar “One for all… but each for themselves? Stories of work groups and some tools to make them work,”dedicated to the topic of effective collaboration in group settings.

Organized as part of the “PRO-BEN Lazio 2” project (CUP Luiss I53C24001330001), the meeting stems from the real-world experiences of many students. Despite participating in numerous group projects during their university studies, they often face challenges in collaborating, such as misunderstandings, uneven workloads, and a lack of coordination.

The seminar aims to provide a participatory space for sharing experiences, coupled with moments of theoretical reflection and practical guidance on building and maintaining effective, satisfying work groups.

Speakers include:

  • Laura Cirillo Guidetti, a psychologist with the Luiss Ti Ascolta counseling service, trained at the Italian Institute of Group Psychoanalysis.
  • Dario Fusco Femiano, a psychologist and psychotherapist, is an associate of the Italian Institute of Group Psychoanalysis and a collaborator with the Luiss Ti Ascolta service.

The initiative is for all students who are interested in enhancing their interpersonal and collaborative skills, so they can make the most of the group experiences that are part of their academic journey.
