Obiettivi formativi

As for main contents, this course aims to provide students with tools to critically assess the impact of law and regulation on markets and business activities; students will also gain a basic knowledge of competition analysis and antitrust. From a broader perspective, the course aims to develop the communication skills of the students.

After attending the course, students should be able to: - show a critical understanding of individual and collective agents behaviors - rely upon a general knowledge about origins, structure and functioning of main contemporary legal systems, also in conjunction with market development - be aware of main regulatory theories, as well as of the impact of regulation on markets and business activities - navigate the main antitrust and competition law issues, also a US/EU comparative viewpoint.
