Obiettivi formativi
The course is aimed at training students on the main principles and applications of the IP rights regulation, also with respect to its practical impact on the markets and business.
Prerequisiti
Good knowledge of English is required (oral and written).
Compulsory course attendance.

After studying this course, the student should be able to:
a) Demonstrate a general knowledge of the main principles and implementing aspects of the regulation on IP rights;
b) Understand the main impacts of IP rights regulation on markets and business;
c) Identify and assess the key regulatory issues on IP rights in different industries;
d) evaluate the impact of economic and social changes with respect to the protection of IP rights;
e) be able to interpret and apply rules on IP rights in different contexts and industries;
f) develop a critical comprehension of the interplay between IP rights regulation and economic, social and technological development.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
a) Attending students: Continuous assessment during the lessons (including break-out sessions and written tests): 1/3 of the grade. Final oral examination: 2/3 of the grade.
b) Non-attending students: Final oral examination: 100% of the grade.
