Innovation Procurement Between Open and Mission-Oriented Innovation

Innovation public procurement (IPP) has immense potential for innovation policies. Notwithstanding its potential for economic growth and development, the implementation of IPP by administrations across Europe remains limited or undervalued despite scholars’ claims that this set of tools is more effective in supporting the enterprise ecosystem than regular procurement. Why is this potential still untapped in the EU and in Italy?

This two-part event aims to stimulate the discussion and foster the development of innovative tools. The morning session will be conducted in English at the Casa delle tecnologie emergenti di Roma, Tiburtina Station, Commercial Gallery, 2nd Floor, in front of the indications for Platform 17.
