Luiss Welcome Lectures - Emerging Technologies: Knowledge Legitimacy and Entrepreneurial Activities

Luiss Welcome Lectures is an opportunity for new members of the academic community to present their potential future contributions and engage in stimulating academic debate with faculty, students and guests. The fifth appointment features Professors Maria Savona and Christian Lechner.

Like any university, Luiss lives through its academic community, which feeds its knowledge production and dissemination. This community is physiologically exposed to the entry of new members.

Luiss Welcome Lectures is a series of events in which new members of the academic community are given the opportunity to present their potential future contributions and engage in stimulating academic debate with faculty, students and guests.

The fifth appointment in the series will be with Maria Savona, who will present her research agenda on digitalisation, employment and data governance and Christian Lechner, who will shed light on how actors in entrepreneurial ecosystems gain legitimacy and how this impacts their performance. Both research agendas rely on constructs and categories that allow a finer understanding of emerging technologies and economic phenomena.
