Funded by the AXA Fund, the laboratory’s research activities address the following topics: the justice and legitimacy of a climate catastrophe insurance market; the principles of solidarity within the catastrophe and climate insurance market; the arguments for making catastrophe and climate insurance mandatory; the principles of legislative drafting in this regard; and climate insurance as a tool for adaptation and remediation.

The dissemination activities the laboratory will focus on will include publications by the director and other lab members, as well as organizing and participating in workshops and conferences.
