The Observatory aims to build a database of Italian SMEs operating within industrial supply chains, whether long or short. The database aims to provide quantitative analysis and empirical evidence about SMEs in the manufacturing sector, highlighting vertical and horizontal exchanges throughout the entire supply chain. It places particular emphasis on new sources of financing, financial innovation, and the payment systems used.
