The Observatory serves as a permanent platform for analysis, experimentation, and operational support for the technological and organizational transformation of Italian manufacturing. The initiative aims to monitor changes in production models, processes, and skills, with a particular focus on technology-intensive supply chains and regions at risk of marginalization.

Through multidisciplinary task forces and vertical drill-downs on Partner companies, the Observatory carries out direct application interventions, develops replicable innovation models, and transfers operational tools and training programs for the reskilling and upskilling of technical and managerial personnel. The goal is to foster competitiveness, sustainability, and industrial cohesion by integrating scientific research, industrial experimentation, and training.
