The EEILAB conducts interdisciplinary research on the governance of sustainability transitions, which are understood as socio-technical processes with profound implications for social organization, driven by global environmental change. Some of the key achievements so far include a cooperation agreement between the University of Cambridge (Department of Land Economics) and Luiss, which has provided a framework for academic exchanges and joint research projects.
